Diamonte Wedding Gloves *Shine!

Yes~! New Challenge - Personalized Diamonte Crystal for YeeJing's Black Satin Wedding Gloves!

This is how YeeJing and I started to know each other *^.^*
I can't recall cleary how YeeJing get to know me.... but after a few emails to and fro.... we started to exchange MSN. And through our msn, she did her enquiry for a pair of Long Plain Black Satin Wedding Gloves. Yup, she is very clear on what she wanted the end and we had the deal through MSN! *^.^* So, YeeJing wanted just a Long Plain Black Satin Wedding Gloves... I thought "plain black not so nice lar rite...? Maybe I tell her I add some diamontes crystals...so to glam up the gloves and also will look more personalized if she trust my creativity..."

Yes..I suggested... to combine her name 'Y' & 'J' into a simplified pattern. When YeeJing saw my suggestion, she was so happy and excited! =) She threw an OK! to me and let me personalized her black satin gloves. So now, challenge begins...

First, I started off by sketching her 'Y'ee 'J'ing...
After numorous tries with the swrils and trills...
this is the final artwork *^.^*

Then I carefully layout the artwork
with different sizes of diamontes.
Note! The way to layout the diffrent sizes of diamonte
is very important, coz the size will affect the overall shape
and curves of the pattern. I'd tried so many attemps to get
the correct amount of big or small diamontes to crete the perfect curves!

Yes, finally! The left hand piece of gloves is done!
It took me a few hours to get this part done~
But the result was nice *^.^* (The background photo frame is a combination of all my diamontes artwork that was exhibited at my previous Wedding Exhibition)
Now continue the right hand piece...

I have to cut out a mold of the pattern...
and place it nicely and in the correct direction
(on how the swrills is) So then it won't look weird, off the
alignment and distored in a pair! I'm super particular in details...
so I'll make sure they look good and consistance when
YeeJing wears it *^.^* Almost done... *heartbeating

Diamonte Wedding Gown *blings

Yup! This time I'm doin Wedding Gown Diamontes for a bride-to-be, Audrey *^.^*

Here goes....

The gown - before anything is done to it.
It was a plain normal wedding gown with boring repetition lace patterns
and ruched empire waist design... plain boring~

Before and After
I add on more hot fixed diamonte crystals on the ruched empire-waist band.

Overall look of before and after effect *^.^*

The crystals are concertraded from the center
and gradually spread loose to both sides...to give a 'sprakling' effect~!

Some day end of May 2009, I got this email from Erica *^.^*

*WOW~! I was so happy and excited to see her request *^o^*!! And immediately I accept this - another great challenge: to diamante CHINESE CHARACTER - the word 喜喜 ~~!! O.o !!~~ so many strokesss (OMG!) *sweating now...

So after a few more emails later from that day, finally on the 2nd Aug09, me n Erica meet *^.^* wahhahahaha... meet-up in real person ler~!!! Erica: U R NOT F*T lar~~ aiyohhh.... and ur FH is ssssooooo TALLLL ler! o.O And both of you r so friendly *^.^* talk until so loud n excited =p I think both side of my neighbour can hear us...hihihi....
But anyway... Thanks, Erica *^.^* for giving me this great opportunity again and thrust me for my 'creativity' diamante service *^.^* Hope u love them~~

Now, let me show you some of my 'behind the scenes' on how my diamante progress goes for your wedding shoe ~*^.^*~ *drum roll~~

First: I draw out the chinese charactor 喜 word and try to arrange the diamontes accordingly... The 1st draft design was not very nice and the words looks like 'robot type' =( Then realized it should have form from a combination of different size of diamontes... so the design looks more 'lifely' and not so boring~! *^.^*
Then, while I plan to source for smaller n bigger diamontes the next day, I started to design more options for the character...some creative ones =) *see options above

Then I finalised on this one~!!! 喜 with heart shape ~~ *^.^* ~~ Lovey dovey *hihihi
So the get the correct position of the diamontes to stick on the shoe, I hav to measure and create a 'mold' for the heels. *this part is damn difficult,man! coz the heels is not a flat surface *sweat again~

But finally I manage to do markings on the heels ~!
Check out my very colorful 'medicine tablet container' that I bought from 100Yen shop, to store my very precious diamontesss *hihihih I love it *^.^* somemore can store accd to colors! *happy yoy!

After a few days of sourcing the smaller n bigger diamontes (paid NUMEROUS visitss from PJ to KL's sewing/tailor's shopss) FINALLY!!! FOUND THEM~~ yohoo! So I start all over again to arrange the nicer creation of the word. *Notice the heart shape now is nicer becoz of the smaller diamontes to create a more dimentional shape *^.^* This part I spend longer time compare to the designing part *sweat sweat sweat...

It was 2.24am =(no kidding! It stated on my profile of this pictures when I took them) while i'm half-way...no no no... I think only quater-way of my diamonte-ing -.- Tired... continue tomorrow! must give quality work... must give quality work x100.....Zzzzz

I'm so so so happy =) also nervous =S as well.... coz not sure Erica will like my design or not?! *sweat Coz when she come to collect her shoe, meaning is also her first time looking at this design~! Wht if she doesn't like it?! *NO~~~(fade out)
I'm must have confident~! She will like it~! Like how I love it so much until i can't stop shooting & styling more n more n more photos (30 over shoots u know!) of her shoes, just b4 she come to collect it away. I did something special for my collegue aka jimiu (for my wedding last year) - Lydia Lau for her wedding 2nd May09 *^.^* Let my pictures tell the story~~
